2010-2011 Resolution
Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially reduce its military and/or police presence in one or more of the following: South Korea, Japan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq, Turkey.
Chattahoochee Debate is committed to 3 principles:
- providing the opportunity to experience and succeed at competitive policy
debate for as many students as are interested;
- educating and familiarizing students about current events, ethics and
philosophical perspectives in order to think about and analyze issues impacting
their lives; and
- creating out of classroom competitive experiences that educate and prepare
students for college and their lives after debate.

Tournament Results
National Debate Coaches Association National Tournament
The Chattahoochee debate team of Sophomore Viveth Karthikeyan and Junior Will Caplan took 3rd place at the National Debate Coaches Association National Tournament. They beat the 7th and 3rd ranked teams in the country to make the debate final four. This was the best performance among public schools in the nation. Karthikeyan was also named 25th speaker overall.
